The school curriculum fulfils the requirements of the National Curriculum and the Northamptonshire Agreed Syllabus for RE: 'Growing Together'.

The Curriculum is topic based and supported termly by key literacy texts (see two year plans). History, Geography, Science, Music, Art and Design Technology are taught through the topics on a 2 year cycle. Computing is taught on a one-year cycle and the children are taught about e-safety every term. Wherever possible, mathematics is taught and applied throughout the topics and supplemented by Collins Busy Ants Scheme and Maths Whizz.
French is taught in years 3-6 using the Catherine Cheater scheme.

The broad and balanced curriculum is designed to prepare children for life in modern Britain and spiritual, moral, social and cultural development through enrichment activities.

Jolly phonics is used in early years to teach English through synthetic phonics. In key stage 1 we use letters and sounds as a phonics resource to build children's speaking and listening skills.
