Our Church School

Flore CoE Primary School is a Voluntary Controlled maintained school. We are just one of 103 Church of England schools and academies in the Peterborough Diocese family, all of whom serve their rural, urban and suburban communities. We are very proud to be a Church of England School and our Christian values underpin all that we do in our school.

At Flore C of E Primary Schol, each one of us has an important part to play in the life of our school and can make a difference to the world in which we live. We all have different gifts, skills and talents. We strive to be the best that we can be, acknowledging and celebrating individuality and diversity.

We prepare children to be part of a global society, where geographical boundaries are diminished and cultural differences are embraced.

Our Church of England School works in partnership with parents,  our local church and the wider Diocese to nurture confident and responsible children who respect other faiths and adopt positive roles in the community.

We encourage all our children:

  • To become confident, generous and independent
  • To be well-behaved, polite and proud of their school
  • To be kind, caring and respectful, to co-operate well and be good citizens
  • To demonstrate Christian values in their actions
  • To be prepared for life in modern Britain
  • To be creative, with a love for learning and to become lifelong learners
  • To discover, nurture and use their talents
  • To achieve their full potential

Our School:

  • Values each child as an individual
  • Delivers a broad and balanced curriculum
  • Uses the arts to enable all children to express themselves
  • Involves stakeholders throughout our community in the long-term vision for the school
  • Recognises and values its place within our wider community
  • Is innovative, progressive and forward thinking
  • Works with our schools to share good practice and develop the expertise of our staff

 Our Christian Vision

‘Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.’

(1 Peter 4:10)

 Our Church

The school has strong links with  All Saints Church in Flore. Rev'd Stephen Burrow supports our school well. He is a Foundation Governor. The Flore Christian Partnership, comprising of all the local churches, support the school by leading Collective Worship once a month.
